B.A (Bachelor of arts)
The B.A. (General) programme is a three year degree course under the 10+2+3 system of education. A person who has passed the +2 examination under 10+2+3 system of education of a recognized University/Board/Council or any other examination recognized by the P.U. as equivalent shall be eligible to join the First Year class of B.A. degree course.

- Environment Education & Road Safety
The students who are not domiciled in Punjab and have not studied Punjabi up to 10th class; wards of defense personnel and central government employees who are transferred on all India bases; and foreigners shall have the option to take History and Culture of Punjab (HCP) in lieu of Punjabi as compulsory subject in B.A. Classes.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer application)
The B.C.A. is a three years degree course under the 10+2+3 system of education. Admission to the First Year of B.C.A. course shall be open to a person who has passed one of the following examinations conducted by a recognized Board/Council/University.
B.C.A. – I
A person who has passed the following examinations shall be eligible to join the first year class of B.C.A. Course:
- 10+2 examination in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
- Having passed Matriculation examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- Any other examination recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to (1) above.
Note
5% Weightage will be given for each of the subjects of Mathematics & Computer Science/Information Technology to the candidate who studied at 10+2 level at the time of admission in B.C.A. 1st.
